With so many properties being converted to Condos, The Jackson Investment Company, LLC, has been very diligent in the efforts to provide affordable housing to the community. JIC is partnering with Housing and Urban Development, William C. Smith and Company and The Union Temple Community Development Corporation to serve as co-developer on The Sheridan Terrace Project. The proposed project includes 180 townhouses and 100 apartments for seniors and families.
JIC is now embarking on a new and exciting phase of its growth, restaurant franchise ownership and operation. JIC is the first and only International House Of Pancakes (IHOP) franchisee in the District of Columbia. The property is located at 1523 Alabama Ave. SE Washington DC 20032. The restaurant pad is owned by William C. Smith and Company. Mr. Smith worked closely with JIC to see this project successfully developed.
